Is there any way I can become a dancer at home?

It’s not that I can’t afford dance lessons, it’s just that my parents don’t want me to and we also have a very tight schedule and all the studios are far. Any suggestions?

watch you tube videos. some are reallly good. not all. also, if some of your friends dance, ask them for some tips. gooood luck
If your friends with anyone who dances you can ask them or you can learn on youtube it as long as you can find some good tutorials. I learned how to dance at home and people never believe me when i tell them ive never taken a dance class in my life. you just have to practice it and it doesnt even have to be like hardcore practice in your room or basement just causally work on it as the day goes along or when your alone or something cuz the more you dance the better you will get at the moves
you can copy it from the tv if you have a dvd player then you can put the dance on slow motion and then you can copy it.
watch youtube videos or get friends who dance to teach you. also you can buy/rent videos of dancers and watch them and copy what they do. i’ve taught myself most of what i know that way and just started actually taking classes.
When you say dancer, I presume you mean something like ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap even hip hop etc. and not krump or break dancing. The short answer is no you can’t (at least a good dancer) and anyone who answered yes I believe is kidding themselves. You need the observation and feedback from a professional dance instructor and the interaction of other student dancers if you ever expect to learn any sort of dance correctly.
