It’s not that I can’t afford dance lessons, it’s just that my parents don’t want me to and we also have a very tight schedule and all the studios are far. Any suggestions?

I am 18 years old and only started dancing two years ago. I have only done jazz and modern (never ballet). I would really love to have a career in dance. Can anyone suggest anything I can do or have I left it too late in life. Should I just give up?

I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old doing ballet, modern, tap, jazz and character and I don’t want to have to give up all of my hard work when I become 17 when I leave my current dance school. Any Ideas?

I have been dancing ballet since I was little and I’m on pointe. I’ve been dancing hip-hop for about 4 years. I’m pretty good at both but for some reason I have problems with jazz. My studio has a competitive company that I REALLY want to join and I have almost 2 months to train for it, can anyone help me?
Any advice you can give will be VERY helpful!
I can do a clean double, I can do simple leaps, and I have all my splits.

I’m 19 years old, is that too young? I’m slim with curves and I’ve got a pretty enough face. Problem is I look young, I’m small and petite, I’m not sure whether anywhere will want me. I live in Central London so I’m sure there’s plenty of high class exotic dancing clubs around, I just don’t know how to go about this at all. I have no experience whatsoever.

I’m 14 years old and haven’t danced in about 7 years. I really want to start back up but I’m not flexible enough. I would be starting up classes in jazz and contempary, what stretches would be good to get me into shape and give me a better chance at doing well? I have reasonable fitness but have tight leg muscles and looser tendons and can’t even touch my toes.

I asked some security guard not too long ago at recent rave, (and I live in LA) how the girls get picked to dance on stage at the massives. I was told to talk to a director but I didn’t feel like investigating that night. I did some research and i think they are also called “GoGo’s or Fruits” but not sure if thats the same thing. How do these girls get picked? Randomly? or do they audtition?
