Well, Im 14 almost 15 and dancing has always fascinated me. When I see people dancing on TV or live shows I’ve gone to, I think “Wow I want to do that”
The only thing is Im not expierienced at all, and I’ve never quite been able to catch on to even simple routines. Is it possible for me to become very good with classes and practice?
Do you join a troupe, win a competition, or do you have to get discovered? How do you get paid? Is that by contract?
I’m sort of okay at two hip-hop styles (b-girl,and boogaloo–I try), but I’m really good at rave styles (strings, liquid, 8-ball), but now I’m really thinking about trying aerial tissu (also known as aerial in ballet) and belly dance (specifically – turkish caberat). All I know is that I really love to dance and I think I would like to do it as a career. I just dont know how. How much does it pay? Is there ever any time off? I also want to stay with unique expressions like rave, aerial, and belly dance. Are there any jobs for that or is it all Hip-Hop?
I’ve always loved dancing but I’ve always sucked at it. I have absolutely no rhythm and can’t dance for life. I’m pretty sure people would die of laughter if they saw me dance. But, I love watching the people from the movies like most recently, Step Up 3 dance. I was just amazed at how awesome they were. I really want to be able to dance like that some day. I still have a chance cause I’m young (13) so I have plenty of time to practice, but how do I start on this to get to their level? Thanks!
It’s not that I can’t afford dance lessons, it’s just that my parents don’t want me to and we also have a very tight schedule and all the studios are far. Any suggestions?
I am 18 years old and only started dancing two years ago. I have only done jazz and modern (never ballet). I would really love to have a career in dance. Can anyone suggest anything I can do or have I left it too late in life. Should I just give up?

I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old doing ballet, modern, tap, jazz and character and I don’t want to have to give up all of my hard work when I become 17 when I leave my current dance school. Any Ideas?
Ok, I really want to dance well, but i cant…How do i get better by myself without lessons? what can i do? Also, how do i learn how to spin like..8 times without falling?
