May 2nd, 2013

I think a lot of clubs make you have a dancer’s license? How do I obtain one? I haven’t ever learned how to well, dance like in a gentlemen’s club, so is it recommended to take classes? Where could I find them? Which clubs are the safest for the dancers?

I have 21 years old and i still can t have my technics in ballet, my en dehors is soo bad, everytime i try to get on my toes, my legs and knees are keeping going in not out. What should i do? I it s one of my dream to become a dancer, a professional one.
I was dancing since i was six years old, i did 6 years of ballet, but i quit, i switched to jazz dance and modern dance. I did not like ballet, but i realized that ballet is the technic key to every dance.
I did not give ballet that much importance that is why my technic is not so good, i was not really paying attention when i wAs in ballet classes.

The Man Who Would Be King

Amazon.com essential video
A grandly entertaining, old-fashioned adventure based on the Rudyard Kipling short story, The Man Who Would Be King is the kind of rousing epic about which people said, even in 1975, “Wow! They don’t make ‘em like that anymore!” When director John Huston (The Maltese Falcon, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, The African Queen) first started trying to make the film, with Gable and Bogart, the project was derailed by the latter’s death. It was a few decades before Huston was able to finally realize his dream movie–and with an unimprovable cast. Sean Connery and Michael Caine are, respectively, Daniel Dravot and Peachy Carnahan, a pair of lovably roguish British soldiers who set out to make their fortunes by conning the priests of remote Kafiristan into making them kings. It’s a rollicking tale, an epic satire of imperialism, and the good-natured repartee shared by Caine and Connery is pure gold. In today’s screen adventures, humor is usually imposed on the material by a writer or director trying to make some kind of cleverly self-aware comment (“Hey, we know it’s a movie!”), but that sort of jokiness can create so much ironic distance that it pushes the audience right out of the picture. Huston lets the humor emerge naturally from the characters, for whom we wind up caring more deeply than we ever expected. –Jim Emerson Amazon.com

How much would I have to practice to become a pointe ballet dancer?

February 22nd, 2011

I am 15 years old, and a junior in high school. I have always loved pointe ballet, and I used to be in ballet when I was younger. I have never done classical ballet, and I would love to do that. If I wanted to be able to do pointe ballet in one year how often would I have to be in a class?

How would you dance as a guy to be a good dancer at a club or bar?

June 22nd, 2010

Obviously you wouldn’t break dance or do anything that is choreographed. I see guys on the dance floor and I think 80% of them are not very good.

How many women would be willing to become a dancer at an adult entertainment club. (Stripper/ Lap Dancer) ?

January 29th, 2010

How many women would be willing to become a dancer/ stripper/ Lap Dancer at an adult entertainment club? Im just curious. A good friend of mine is making $700 per week just dancing at a mens club. Her boyfriend told me she comes home to him every night and that to her its just a part time job. P.S. She has her bachelors degree and works full time as a LPN during the day. Its just extras cash to her and she’s only doing it for about 6 Months. So Im curious… How many other women would ever consider this?

How late would it be to become a modern dancer?

April 13th, 2008

For example a dancer in a music video, I’m not talking for a really famous person, but just the opportunity to be able to do it. I am serious about dancing, and I want to figure out how I can make it a professional career. So what’s the first step?
